ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan's assistant on trade, Abdul Razak Dawood, on Tuesday reported that German design mammoth Hugo Boss has put in its first request of sportswear at a Pakistani organization.

"Glad to take note of that notable brand, Hugo Boss, has put in its first request of sportswear to a Pakistani organization," Dawood, Adviser to the Prime Minister on Commerce, Textile, Industry, and Investment, said on Twitter.
"This accomplishment was because of the exertion of PRGMEA for holding the 35th IAF Fashion Convention in Nov a year ago, in Lahore," he included, saluting Ijaz Khokhar, the central facilitator of the Pakistan Readymade Garments Manufacturers and Exporters Association.

The International Apparel Federation's (IAF) 35th World Fashion Convention was held in Lahore on November 12-13, 2019, in a joint effort with Dutch industry affiliation Modint.

German design house Hugo Boss is known the world over for its savvy men's suits. It fabricates garments and extras universally and has different items, for example, eveningwear, shoes, cowhide merchandise, eyewear, watches, aromas, and youngsters' style.
